After a night of thunderstorms in Northern Ireland, the weather is expected to clear up and bring a dry and bright day on Monday. The Met Office predicts heavy rain will move east on August 12, followed by sunny spells and warm temperatures. Strong winds will ease, with a maximum temperature of 22C. Later in the day, the evening will be dry and sunny before clouds move in overnight with rain spreading eastwards. Southerly winds will strengthen, and the minimum temperature will be 13C.
Tuesday will start off cloudy with rain but will become brighter with sunny spells and light showers in the afternoon. The maximum temperature will be 21C, and it will be breezy. Looking ahead to Wednesday to Friday, the Met Office forecasts a dry and sunny morning turning cloudy with rain later in the day. Thursday will have some rain but will brighten up later, and Friday will be breezy with a few showers.
In Belfast, temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 22C on Monday, 21C on Tuesday, and 20C on Wednesday. Thursday will see a maximum of 19C, and both Friday and Saturday will have a maximum of 19C as well. Sunday’s maximum temperature is forecasted to be 20C.
