In the early hours of the morning, firefighters rescued two people from a flat in Antrim after an arson attack. The incident occurred at around 4am on Saturday, November 30, in the Mallusk Gardens area of the town. A flammable liquid was reportedly poured on the front door of the flat and set on fire.

Fortunately, the occupants of the flat were unharmed as firefighters were able to remove them from the scene safely. The police are now appealing for information regarding the arson attack.
