According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, it seems like Rennes attacker Désiré Doué is leaning towards joining Bayern Munich. While it’s not confirmed yet, Bayern Munich appears to be ahead of Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Doué.

Doué has reportedly given a positive response to Bayern Munich, but he has not completely ruled out PSG as Bayern still needs some time to finalize player sales. The transfer fee is expected to be around €55-60m, including add-ons, and Bayern Munich is confident that the deal will go through.

The confidence shown by Bayern Munich is quite remarkable, considering the uncertainties surrounding Doué’s position once he joins the team in Bavaria.
